Flex Your Way to Team Success:
Introduction to Behavioral Styles and the Platinum Rule
The
Platinum Rule is “Treat others as they want to
be treated.”
This is good advice, but how can you know the preferences of
others? Actually, fairly easily – if you have a method. The
Platinum Rule Assessment gives organizations an approach
that works. It provides teams with a simple but profound
tool to grow in effectiveness, cooperation and harmony.
The assessment itself and the reports that it provides are
based on a behavioral preference model. The reports will
give team members insights into their own habitual behavior
– how they take initiative and how they react to others.
They also provide insights into the behavior and preferences
of others, so that team members can actually practice the
platinum rule.
The training provides an overview of the
Platinum Rule
assessment and team system. We share team predictions and
then examine team results. Participants explore case studies
to learn more about the behavioral styles and how they play
out. We discuss actual scenarios staff have experienced and
how practical techniques based on the Platinum Rule approach
could have been used or could be used for a better outcome.
"I just wanted to take a minute to thank you
again and tell you how helpful the “Platinum Rule” workshop
was for our team. As you know, the concept of “team” is
essential to our work. The workshop was extremely helpful to
everyone – and by that I really mean each and every person.
I gained valuable information about my employees; where they
might be most effective and who they might have trouble
communicating with. This will help vastly with placement.
They gained incredible insight into themselves and each
other. For a couple of them it was obviously a life-changing
event. I am very pleased to have been able to offer the
workshop to them, in part for the selfish motive of having a
more effective team, and I really appreciate your skills in
making the workshop such a success for everyone, and SO fun!
Thanks!!" Deborah Hall, PhD,

“As a former college professor, I’ve sat through many
presentations. Anne’s seminar was an incredibly useful and
productive morning for me. Not to be dramatic, but it has
changed my life in two days. I have gotten much more
organized and created a structure that is working great now.
I recommend this seminar to anyone grappling with time
management challenges.” --- Sam Couch,
Rising Road Irish
Tours
“The time management seminar was like a hammer knock on my
head! It showed me how to fit in things that are really
important to me in my business and personal life. I came
away from the seminar knowing I would do things
differently.” --- Dr. Sheila Dunn, CEO, Quality America,
Inc.
“This was not a “how to fill out your Daytimer” workshop but
instead got to the core issue of balancing all aspects of
one's life. It helped me get much more realistic about the
time needed for my new products to become known and
accepted. This was actually a big relief because I had been
putting too much pressure on myself to get immediate
"results." Now I can plan my time and energy in a way that
will work for me, not against me. This was a very worthwhile
seminar.”
--- Andrea Williams, Crystal River Weaving
"Anne Alexander's visit to our Center, as both a guest
speaker and workshop facilitator, was an absolute delight.
She wove together science, psychology and natural law in
an inspiring and empowering way. Anne's presence is warm,
inviting and one that draws out the best in people. I speak
for myself and others when I say that any opportunity to
work with her is well worth the investment." --- Rev. Marcia MacLean, Minister, The Wisdom Center,

Opportunities in the New Economy: Creating competitive advantage through
sustainability &
social responsibility
Business and social & environmental responsibility are not
polar opposites. In fact, the future suggests that those
businesses which take the charter of “the commons” to heart

Newman’s Own, and Patagonia. And there are thousands of
businesses you’ve never heard of, like Aurolab, that are
doing well as a result of doing good.
In this
interactive workshop we explore how your business

business practices. Bring your challenges, success stories,
